Training & Technical Consulting
Building in-house CFD and thermal analysis capability; establishing a standard for method, validation and reporting. Independent review, second opinion and support in writing technical specifications.
What we do
Not every analysis has to be outsourced. For some organisations the right answer is not handing the work over, but becoming able to do it reliably in-house.
We do both: we run the analysis, or we make it possible for you to run it. In the second case what we deliver is not a report — it is a method.
Scope
- Applied training — on your own geometry and your own operating conditions; unlike a generic course, it addresses your work from day one
- Establishing method — meshing standards, turbulence model selection, convergence and grid-independence criteria, written down
- Reporting standard — templates and checklists so that assumptions, deviation and uncertainty appear the same way in every report
- Independent review — auditing the method behind an analysis you already hold, whether from your own team or a supplier
- Second opinion — an independent check of a result before a critical decision
- Technical specifications — defining what to ask for when buying analysis, and what output will be accepted
- Capability planning — hardware, workflow and validation infrastructure
Why this service exists
Most analysis reports end with "it converged". On which mesh, with which model, under which assumptions, with how much uncertainty — when none of that is written, the report is not a basis for a decision. It is a picture.
A team that knows the difference can also judge the quality of analysis it buys. That is the real return on training: not only being able to run an analysis, but being able to assess one.
Format
On site or remote; from a focused half-day session to a programme spread over several weeks. The scope is set together in the first call, based on where the team currently stands.
